Nurse

We are looking for a caring, dedicated, and highly skilled Nurse (Staff Nurse / Registered Nurse) to join our professional healthcare team in Kayamkulam. The ideal candidate must possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent patient care skills, and the commitment to ensure all patients receive compassionate, professional, and high-quality care, often focusing on regional health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care Excellence: Provide comprehensive, compassionate patient care, support, and comfort in adherence to medical instructions and facility standards, with an emphasis on respectful local cultural practices.

Vitals & Reporting: Continuously and accurately monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and physiological status, reporting immediate changes or concerns to the consulting doctor or Nursing Supervisor.

Medication Administration: Administer all medications, injections, and intravenous fluids correctly, maintaining meticulous records of dosage and timing.

Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate patient records (physical and electronic, as required) and update treatment plans and progress notes promptly.

Procedure Assistance: Actively assist doctors and medical officers in procedures, specialized unit care, and managing local health initiatives (e.g., infectious disease management, geriatric care).

Compliance: Strictly adhere to all health, hygiene, infection control, safety, and hospital protocols relevant to Kerala State and national standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) / GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing or an equivalent, recognized nursing qualification.
  • Registration: Must possess a valid registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC) or be eligible for immediate registration.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Strong clinical aptitude, comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, and basic life support (BLS) training is preferred.
  • Communication: Fluency in Malayalam is mandatory to communicate effectively with patients and families. Proficiency in English is also required for documentation and team interaction.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work responsibly, efficiently, and calmly during shifts and medical emergencies, demonstrating high empathy and patience.
  • Attributes: High discipline and strong ability to work collaboratively within the local interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience: 1–5 years of demonstrable nursing experience in a hospital, government health center, or multi-specialty clinic in Kerala. (Freshers with top academic credentials and strong clinical confidence are also encouraged to apply).
  • Specialization: Experience in community health, geriatric care, or critical care is a plus.
